Nature of this site and disclaimer

DroneWatch AI is a working concept demonstrator published for technical discussion and to seek development partners. Drone-threat signals shown in the demonstrator are simulated. The air-traffic registry is a live public ADS-B feed.

It is not an operational system, it does not detect real drones, and no field-validated performance is claimed. Any figures, tracks or assessments shown are illustrative. The system performs detection and early warning only and carries out no interdiction, jamming, or engagement of any kind. Nothing on this site constitutes an offer of a defence product, a representation of certified capability, or advice on which any security decision should be based.

Cookies and tracking. This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no third-party trackers. Because no non-essential cookies or similar technologies are used, no consent banner is shown. If that ever changes, consent will be requested before any such technology is set.

The AURA assistant. If you choose to use the AURA chat, the following applies.

• The text you type is transmitted to Anthropic PBC, our AI processor, solely to generate a reply. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train its models.
• Your conversation is held in your browser only for the duration of the visit. It is not written to our database and does not persist on our server.
• Your IP address is held in server memory for up to one hour for the single purpose of rate-limiting abuse of the endpoint, then discarded. It is not stored, logged to disk for this purpose, profiled, or shared.
• Please do not enter personal, confidential, classified, or operationally sensitive information into the chat. It is a public information assistant and is not an appropriate channel for such material.

Legal basis. Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in answering enquiries about the project and in keeping the service available and free from abuse. Where you email us, we process your contact details to reply to you.

Retention. Rate-limiting data, up to one hour. Email correspondence, for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and to meet legal record-keeping obligations.

International transfers. Anthropic PBC is established in the United States. Transfers are made under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights. Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Email [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro), or with the authority in your country of residence.

This site and the demonstrator are provided for lawful, informational and defensive purposes only, on an "as is" basis and without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the provider excludes liability for any loss arising from reliance on content published here.

Access to the live operator console is granted on request and is restricted. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, to disrupt the service, or to use the AURA assistant to generate unlawful content or to solicit information about defeating, degrading, or evading detection systems.

Export control

DroneWatch AI is defensive early-warning software. Any future supply, licensing or transfer of technology may fall within EU dual-use export-control rules, in particular Regulation (EU) 2021/821, and applicable national controls. Compliance would be assessed before any engagement, and no supply is offered or implied by the publication of this site.
